Description

This is at the West Sand Lake School Playground for those of you who might know where that is. For those of you who don't its in a town just outside of Albany, NY. My friend and I were out there all day and when the sun started to set it was the most beautiful thing ever. I had to photograph it...

Anywho hope you like it!

The picture itself is a good piece of artwork on it's own. The lighting is caught just right by the sun peering over the ridge in the trees. However, the subject matter is...overused. I cannot tell you how many sunset photos I see a day working at my job or even here on DeviantArt. Therefore, for originality, I must give it a two. Uppoints! You captured the light at just the right time in which it doesn't glare or overexpose the photo too badly. The trees are a little dark however, but because of where you caught the light, this is understandable. It needs a bit of photoshop work though. Try messing around with the adjustments layers in that you play with the contrast, brightness, colors, and definitely your levels need work! That is a good sky, now make it amazing! I know the camera that you have has such horrible settings. (Kodak point and shoot are just yuck!) For a more professional look, I suggest unsharpening it, and throwing on a lens blur around the edges. However, if not that's cool too, it's personal style one wants!
